Program Overview:

Selection of Privately Financed International Students “私費外国人留学生選抜” is open to potential international students only. Each school and the graduate school (Master’s course and Doctor’s course) are accepting applications. Only April admissions are available for undergraduate courses, while April and October admissions are available for graduate courses. For the outline of each school and the graduate school, please refer to the website of each school and the website of the Center for International Exchange of Utsunomiya University.

For the undergraduate entrance examination, you must submit your EJU score as a requirement for application, but the questions are set in Japanese in most departments. There are only a few places in Utsunomiya where Uzbek or English is spoken, so you will have to spend most of your daily speaking Japanese while studying in Japan. There is an international student tutor/advisor system where senior international students and Japanese students who are interested in international exchange help international students who have just arrived in Japan with the procedures for living in Japan and taking classes.
